Phyllis J. Meltzer, M.S.G., Ph.D.

Phyllis J. Meltzer earned her Ph.D. in 1997 in the new field of Occupational Science.  She holds Master Degrees and has teachng experience in Gerontology (USC) and Adult Learning (VPI).  Her professional work as a speech therapist, museum educator, and gerontologist has always emphasized educational goals.  The Self-Discovery Tapestry was developed and validated over an 8 year period with hundreds of participants who "discovered" vital aspects of their lives.
