Through case studies, personal stories, and hands-on activities, participants will learn how the social and educational needs of people with early memory loss differ from people with moderate or advanced dementia. The interactive, one-day seminar will inspire participants, leaving them prepared to enhance existing services for people with early memory loss and/or develop new programming specific to this population. For more advanced participants, additional days of training focus on planning, developing, facilitating, and funding a social and educational program specifically for people with early memory loss.
