Learn how to address the unique needs and abilities of people with early memory loss! Through case studies, personal stories, and hands-on activities, participants will learn how the social and educational needs of people with early memory loss differ from people with moderate or advanced dementia. The interactive, one-day seminar will inspire participants, leaving them prepared to enhance existing services for people with early memory loss and/or develop new programming specific to this population.

For more advanced participants, additional days of training focus on planning, developing, facilitating, and funding a social and educational program specifically for people with early memory loss. Group activities, lecture, and role play will teach participants how to

market a program for people with early memory loss
plan and facilitate program activities
provide ancillary services for family members and friends of program members
form collaborative relationships with community organizations

The seminar's detailed information and strategies will enable participants to successfully implement a social and educational program in their community.
