Ron Zielske, M.Div., is currently the Principal of Elderspirit, a consulting company for retirement and long-term care facilities, nonprofit agencies, and congregations that desire to build senior housing. Elderspirit specializes in long-term planning, fund development, and holistic care of residents and clients.

As a licensed nursing facility administrator and a former administrator for independent, residential, and nursing facilities for older adults in California, Mr. Zielske has a wealth of experience working with people in long-term care and assessing their spiritual needs. Previously, Mr. Zielske was the President and Chief Executive Officer at Sunny View Lutheran Home in Cupertino, California, where he worked for over 25 years. In addition, he served as a parish pastor for 10 years.

Mr. Zielske is also an adjunct faculty member at the Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, California, and a lecturer at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. He serves as a member of the advisory board for the Center for Aging, Religion and Spirituality and is a founding member of the Center for Gerontology, Spirituality and Faith. He has given numerous presentations at various long-term care facilities and has served on a variety of other boards related to aging and spirituality issues.
