For Immediate Release SIX PUBLICATIONS NAMED TO 2008 DOODY'S CORE TITLES IN THE HEALTH SCIENCES LIST BALTIMORE, MDSix Health Professions Press titles were selected for inclusion in the newly released Doody’s Core Titles in the Health Sciences. Published since 2004 by Doody Enterprises, Inc., Doody’s Core Titles is the premier collection development tool for medical, nursing, and allied health librarians. Each year more than 200 health care specialists and librarians are asked to review the body of literature in 121 health care fields to select titles that represent “essential knowledge needed by professionals or students in a given discipline.” The following Heath Professions Press publications were chosen as recommended titles by these reviewers in 2008:

A wide variety of health care professionals, including health services administrators, nurse managers, direct care staff, and mental health counselors, benefit from the books.
